The Historical Progress page provides trends over time so you can determine whether SLAs are being met. All graphs display median business days.
Median business days is a statistical measure that represents the middle value in a range of business days. Specifically, it is the number of business days that falls exactly in the middle of a set of business days. For example, if you have a list of 10 business days, the median business day would be the 5th business day in the list.
This measure is often used to describe the typical or average amount of time it takes to complete a task or process. By using the median, rather than the mean or average, the measure is less affected by extreme values or outliers in the data set. Therefore, the median business days can provide a more accurate representation of the time it takes to complete a task or process for most cases.
